The Fisher River Cree Nation welcome all to the Annual National Cree Gathering (NCG) held in August 2019. The 2019 National Cree Gathering will celebrate our collective history, culture, traditions and language through teachings and ceremonies.

The theme for the 2019 NCG is “The Cree Good Life” – “Maskekomowinihk isi minopimatisowinihk” ” Nehiyaw Miyo-Pimatisiwin”

The 2019 Teachings: History, Protocols, Language, Governance, Kinship, Roles & Responsibilities, Creation Story, Prophecies and Vision.

The 2019 Gathering will be held from August 1 – 4, 2019 with the Unity Run beginning July 30 – August 1, 2019. The Unity Run will start in Opaskwayak Cree Nation.
